It should be checked 2 times a year after installation. Check fastening strength of cap bolt and flange/nipple or if there is any loose between them. (if any gap is found, fasten as strong as necessary torque.)

Before greasing oil, check if there is any space between spline and outers. If any space is found, immediately stop running and inspect after disassembling. It must not have any abnormal sound during operation, but should be checked in case of abnormal noise.

First greasing oil is when installed, and next greasing should be on every 6 months. Surrounding water, steam, dust and metal oxidizer, it should be every 2 months or more often when disassembled.

Grease is supplied through nipple until sealing cap is soaked. Overflowed grease is a proper supply because that removes all the dust inside. If there is air bubble in one direction, remove it and make all sealing cap soaked.
